This blog chronicles what I am cooking and eating. After giving up gluten and sugar for Lent in 2012 (and a stint as a Lenten vegetarian in 2011), I decided to give blogging a whirl year-round.
I'm a twenty-something living in our nation's capital with a lot of pots and pans and not a lot of time. When I am not working or cooking, I can be found spending time with friends, running, binge reading, playing on my iPad, making any location a dancefloor, or hanging out at one my favorite neighborhood watering holes.
Oh, and my name is an anagram for "caramel memoir".
Currently obsessed with: my red Le Creuset dutch oven, my free 30-day Spotify trial, grilled cheeses, bright pants and skirts, and Lena Dunham's twitter feed.
Perennial favorites: Spain, Jack Donaghy, hot yoga, the literary Brat Pack (particularly Bret Easton Ellis and Jay McInerney), bridge, Phoenix Pandora station, roasted vegetables, and Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem's baby, Leo (Blue Ivy, who?)
Dislikes: bacon, animals, snow, Claire Dunphy, The Bachelorette. (I know these confessions kind of make me a sociopath. Sorry.)
